The Kilimanjaro Premium Lager was the brainchild of our Director JohnAddison back in the early 2000s and had its first edition in 2003. Since then
the event has grown year on year, to now being recognized as one of the top 5
sporting events in the Tanzanian calendar with over 10 000 people attending in
2023, as well as thousands more visiting the areas of Moshi and Arusha on race
weekend.
The race has become one of the must-do events on the African racingcalendar because of its challenging route, spectacular views of Kilimanjaro and
the electric atmosphere that engulfs the area.
The marathon will be cantering into its 23nd year in 2025 and promisesto be one of the year’s top events for runners of any level.
